I've seen a BT Ford Transit for sale - is that legal?
I've seen a BT Ford Transit van being sold privately by an employee. Is that legal? I might buy it.

It isn't uncommon for employees to buy ex-fleet vehicles. However, it would be wise to purchase a history check, which will search the DVLA, police and insurers’ records to discover if the van has ever been stolen, involved in an accident or the subject to outstanding finance. Make sure it’s been regularly maintained too, with an oil change every 10,000 miles. Signs of abuse or neglect are certain to cause you headaches in the future, and with plenty of used Transits to choose from, there’s no need to take a gamble.
